Speaker: Dr. Chandwani is a residency trained and board-certified Orofacial Pain specialist. His practice is limited to Orofacial pain which encompasses TMJ disorders, Trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathic pain (burning mouth syndrome, atypical facial pain, atypical odontalgia). headaches, jaw spasms, snoring, sleep apnea and other facial pain conditions. He graduated from DMD and Orofacial pain residency training at Tufts University and did a year long certificate program in Acupuncture at Harvard medical school. He is well published in peer reviewed journals, and he is a reviewer for journals including JADA, Oral diagnosis. In his practice, his toolbox includes acupuncture, dry needling, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, ganglion blocks, occlusal appliances (aka mouthguards), pharmacotherapy and referrals when appropriate. He prefers complimentary medicine (neutraceuticals, acupuncture, mind body techniques and physical medicine, vitamin B12 injections). We look forward to seeing you there!
