February is the National Children's Dental Health Month. In collaboration with Yale’s Peabody Museum of Natural History and the University of New Haven Dental Hygiene School to recognize the importance of oral health in children, the members of the New Haven Dental Association has staged an event 'Dinomite Day' from noon to four p.m. on one of the Sundays February for several years. 

On 'Dinomite Day', our organization gives away 1,000 “goodie bags” to children attending, as well as provides 100 free mouthguards. With Chris Rowland's performance of his popular shows,  this Sunday afternoon at the Peabody has proven to become a place not to be missed for children and their parents in the month of February.
